What is PRP?

A. Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is concentrated blood plasma which contains approximately three to five times the number of platelets found in normal circulating blood. It Contains Stem cells and Growth factors that aids in Skin rejuvenation, Hair Growth and wound healing.

Q. What are the areas treated with PRP?

A. Orbital Rim – Around the eyes, Face, Cheeks and Mid face, Other Body Areas, Scalp for Hair Fall, non healing wounds etc.

Q. How is PRP therapy performed?

A. PRP involves taking blood from the arm and centrifuged. The platelets are separated from the rest of the components of the blood. This is then injected into the desired location.

Q. What is the duration of Procedure?

The procedure takes 30 min to 1 hour.

Q. When can I go to work?

A. It is an outpatient procedure and one can go to work on very next day.

Q. How many sessions will I need?

A. PRP therapy can be repeated every 1-2 months and usually 3-4 sittings are adequate, though some may require maintenance therapy.
